Maryanne Schrader was appointed City Clerk in 2021. She served as City Clerk of DeFuniak Springs from September 2019 through November 2021. She retired from the City of O’Fallon, Illinois in July 2019 after twenty-three years.
Maryanne has a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies with a minor in Communication from Saint Louis University. She also has a Master Municipal Clerk designation from the International Municipal Clerks and has been a member since 1999. She has served as District IX Director in the Municipal Clerks of Illinois (MCI), the chairman of the MCI Training Institute Committee, as well as serving on local affiliations. She currently is a member of the Florida Association of City Clerks and serves on the Resolutions Committee. Maryanne is also a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and the Illinois Association of Parliamentarians.
