CITY OF CRESTVIEW 
GARBAGE, TRASH, BULK AND RECYCLING PICK-UP 
DAYS SCHEDULE


Note: The City of Crestview’s contracted garbage, yard trash, waste, bulk, and recycling service provider is Waste Pro, USA. The firm’s local office telephone number is 689-8600. The firm’s major north from south service area defining line is Highway 90 (James Lee Boulevard, running east to west through the city) and the major east from west service area defining line is Highway 85 (Ferdon Boulevard, running north to south through the city). To ensure pick-ups, it is recommended that items be placed within three feet of the street curb before 6:00 a.m. on service days.

Household Garbage Pick-Up

Monday & Thursday - On these two (2) days, household garbage pick-up service is provided to all residences south of Highway 90 except for those residences south of Highway 90 that are on the west side of South Highway 85 from Duggan Avenue north to West Highway 90.

Tuesday & Friday - On these two (2) days, household garbage pick-up service is provided to all residences north of Highway 90. Additionally, service is provided to those residences south of Highway 90 that are on the west side of South Highway 85 from Duggan Avenue north to West Highway 90.



Yard Trash/Waste Items Pick-Up

Wednesday - On this day, yard trash/waste pick-up service is provided to all residences within the city.

Note: Yard Trash/Waste items include bagged leaves, bagged grass, shrub clippings, brush, small tree branches, etc. All tree limbs and cut pieces must be trimmed and shall not be more than four (4) inches in diameter and shall not be more than six (6) feet in length.



Bulk Items Pick-Up

Monday - On this day, bulk pick-up service is provided to all residences that routinely have household garbage picked up on Monday and Thursday (see area description above).

Tuesday - On this day, bulk pick-up service is provided to all residences that routinely have household garbage picked up on Tuesday and Friday (see area description above).

Note: Bulk items include household furniture, lawnmowers (drained of gas and oil), bicycles, etc. White goods (appliances) are picked-up separately only on an as needed basis. The city’s contracted service provider (Waste Pro) should be notified at 689-8600 when white goods type items are placed at curbside.



Recycling Items Pick-Up

Monday - On this day, recycling pick-up service is provided to all residences west of South Highway 85 and south of Duggan Avenue except for those residences west of South Highway 85 on Ashley Drive, Hope Drive, Campbell Avenue, Southview Drive, Eastview Drive, Ray Avenue, Northview Lane, Hillview Circle, and Trevor Court.

Tuesday - On this day, recycling pick-up service is provided to all residences west of South Highway 85 from Duggan Avenue north to West Highway 90. Additionally, service is provided to all residences east of North Highway 85 and north of East Highway 90.

Thursday - On this day, recycling pick-up service is provided to all residences east of South Highway 85 and south of East Highway 90. Additionally, service is provided to those residences west of South Highway 85 on Ashley Drive, Hope Drive, Campbell Avenue, Southview Drive, Eastview Drive, Ray Avenue, Northview Lane, Hillview Circle, and Trevor Court.

Friday - On this day, recycling pick-up service is provided to all residences west of North Highway 85 and north of West Highway 90.

Note: Permitted recycling items include newspapers, computer paper, magazines, telephone books, mail envelopes, cardboard, brown paper bags, other paper products (except as indicated below), metal (steel, tin, and aluminum) cans, glass bottles/jars (non-ceramics that are clear, green, or brown), and only recycling numbers 1 through 5 plastic bottles/containers (the number is shown in the middle of the recycling symbol on the plastic item). It is helpful and preferred, but not required, that all cans, glass bottles/jars, and plastic bottles/containers be rinsed out and that recyclable caps be removed before placing in the recycling bin. Not-permitted recycling items include most newspaper inserts, plate glass, auto glass, stained glass, aluminum foil, sheet metal, plastic shopping bags, five gallon size and larger buckets/pails, motor oil containers, Styrofoam, large commercial water bottles (Culligan, Abita Springs, etc.), butter cups, and any paper, cardboard, or box product that is wax covered, plastic covered, or contaminated by food.



Holidays Pick-Up Information

Residential pick-up service will not be provided on the holidays of July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day if these holidays occur Monday through Friday of the week. The next pick-up days following these holidays will be based on the routine schedules indicated above.
